Memorial EvE style

“In EVE, really big internet spaceships require another player to
set up a beacon so that they can jump between systems.

The symbolism of lighting a bunch of cynos is that they are
calling out to the pilot who will never come home again.”

For non-EVE players:

“In EVE really big internet spaceships can’t travel between solar systems like smaller ships can so they require another player to set up what is essentially a beacon so they can instantaneously jump to it.

If you set your map to show active cynos, then stars glow turquoise, glowing brighter and bigger if there are more cynos. With 201 cynos in system, it glowed bright enough to cover most of the galaxy.

So the symbolism of lighting a bunch of cynos is that they are calling out to the pilot who will never come home again.”
I thought this significant enough to repost. I noticed the pic first through Eve-Fail. The wording with the picture just hit me right there… So I wanted to save it here too.
